What do you need: Apple, Jicama, Scallions, fish sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, salt and sugar.

How to make:

  1. Cut the apples and jicamas into thin slices and keep them aside.
  2. Chop the scallions and store it for later use.
  3. In a bowl, mix the rice vinegar, lime juice, fish sauce, salt and sugar.
  4. Add the apples, jicamas and scallion into the bowl and give it a good mix.
  5. Garnish it with a few mint leaves and serve.

Bacon egg and spinach salad:

Spinach is a good source of iron. Mix it with some beacons and eggs and you have a perfect meal. Beacon egg and spinach salad are rich in vitamin A which is very good for eye and eyesight.

What do you need: Hard boiled eggs, cooked bacon sliced, raw baby spinach, mustard, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper for taste.

How to make:

  1. Hard boil the eggs. Once boiled peel them and cut in small pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, add red wine vinegar, olive oil and mustard. Give it a good whiskey.
  3. In a salad bowl, add the cooked bacon, spinach and eggs.
  4. Put the mix into the salad, add salt and pepper for taste.
  5. Give everything a good toss and serve.

Both pineapple and beetroot are rich in fibers. Moreover, Pineapple contains an enzyme called ‘Bromelain’ that may help in breaking down of proteins and reduce the digestive issue.

What do you need:  Chopped beetroots, chopped pineapple, a pinch of cinnamon powder, olive oil, nice and thinly chopped mint and salt to taste.

How to make:

  1. Preheat the oven at  204°C and roast the beetroots for 40 minutes.
  2. Take the beetroots out of the oven and cool them.
  3. In a salad bowl, add the chopped pineapples and beetroot and add olive into it.
  4. Add a pinch of cinnamon and salt and give it a good firm mix.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.

What do you need:  Beets, Arugula, Avacado, Goat cheese, Extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, kosher salt and black pepper.

How to make:

  1. Scrub the beets and roast them in the preheated oven at 204°C for 40 minutes.
  2. Once the beets are roasted, let them cool.
  3. Take a jar, add a tablespoon of olive oil, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard. Give every a good and nice shake.
  4. In a salad bowl, add the arugula, add the beets, avocado and goat cheese.
  5. Toss everything with the olive oil vinegar mixture.
  6. Garnish with some walnuts and mint leaves and serve.

Sweet potato cauliflower salad:

How about a salad with sweet potato and cauliflower? Cauliflower is rich in vitamin C, dietary fibers and has no cholesterol in it. On the other hand, sweet potato is a super source of Vitamin A. Combine these two and add some dressings, there you have it, a perfect salad that can replace your boring meal.

What do you need: Diced sweet potato, finely chopped cauliflowers, Chopped lettuce, Pomegranate seeds, vinegar, salt, extra virgin olive oils and freshly ground black peppers.

How to make:

  1. Toss cauliflower, sweet potatoes with a tablespoon of olive, pepper and salt.
  2. Roast them in a preheated oven 220°C for 30 minutes.
  3. Cool it after roasting.
  4. In a bowl mix some olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and whisk in well.
  5. Take a salad bowl, add all the veggies and toss it with the vinegar mixture, lettuce and pomegranate seeds.
  6. Garnish and serve.

Crunchy chickpea kale caesar salad:

Give your regular caesar salad a crunchy twist with some chickpeas. This easy to make and healthy salad recipe will make your day.

What do you need: Soak and rinsed chickpeas, finely chopped kale, extra virgin olive oil, ground black pepper, salt, finely chopped garlic, grated parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise and lemon juice.

How to make:

  1. In a preheated oven at 220°C, roasted the chickpeas tossed in olive oil and salt. Let it cool for some time.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, mustard, parmesan and salt.
  3. In a salad bowl, pour the whisked mix over kale and roasted chickpeas and give it a nice mix.
  4. Garnish and serve.

Warm French lentil salad:

What do you need: French green lentil, fresh oregano, onion, celery leaves, bell peppers, salt, black pepper, red wine vinegar, feta cheese and baby spinach

How to make:

  1. In a saucepan add french lentils and fresh oregano. Boil till it tenders.
  2. Chop the onion, celery and bell pepper into small pieces.
  3. In a pan, add one tablespoon of oil and stir fry to the peppers, celery and onion. Add a few drops of water and some black pepper and salt. Cook until pepper turns crisp-tender.
  4. Take out the oregano and drain the water from the lentils.
  5. In a salad bowl, drop lentils, oregano leaves, vinegar and onion pepper mixture.
  6. Add salt and pepper and give everything a good mix.
  7. Garnish and serve.

Tomato mozzarella salad:

What do you need: Diced tomatoes, Lightly salt mozzarella balls, mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, extra virgin oil, salt and pepper.

How to make:

  1. In a large bowl, add diced tomatoes, cheese balls, basil leaves.
  2. Toss everything with cheese, a tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper until evenly mixed.

What do you need: Cooked (Grilled, roasted) chicken, Barbeque sauce, lettuce, ranch dressing, corn, black beans, tomatoes, jicama, cheese, avocado, green onions, tortilla strips.

How to make:

  1. In a salad bowl, toss the lettuce with ranch dressings.
  2. Toss the chicken in BBQ sauce and place it over the lettuce.
  3. Now add the corn, black beans, tomatoes, jicama, cheese, avocado, green onions and tortilla strips.
  4. Now toss everything with the remaining ranch dressing.
  5. Garnish and serve.

Cheesy spinach salad:

What do you need: Baby spinach, small onions, white wine vinegar, walnuts, cheese, walnut oil, salt and black pepper.

How to make:

  1. Clean the baby spinach in running water.

  3. In a small bowl, add vinegar and walnut oil and give it a whisk it.
  4. In a salad bowl add the spinach, walnuts, onions and cheese.
